Understanding the need to bring women into the economy, WE Hub conducts several initiatives to promote women in the workforce. In this regard, WE Hub and P&G have come together to begin a concentrated movement – “Women in Manufacturing”
In India, the National Skills Report released by the Government indicates the participation of women in Manufacturing has gone from 20% in 2008 to 17% in 20161. Keeping this in mind, a targeted approach needs to be taken to bring women in to the sector.
